Changing rooms

A lot is changing in my life right now and it is inevitable that this will inspire what I write about. With moving, trying to get use to a new place, trying to feel at home, finding new work, getting a new place to live, it is all a lot to get my head around.

The statement ‘change is good’, is not something that I have always felt comfortable to agree with but in recent years I have began to see that sometimes change is needed. Change is necessary to grow, change enables us to get past obstacles and also it allows us to experience new things. Change can definitely be scary but also exciting! I knew something had to change, I knew it was time and I thank God that changes are happening in my life and I know that he heard my prayers.

With all the change, unfamiliarity and uncertainty that I am experiencing at the moment, by the end of the day I have been through so many different emotions, but I know that it will all be worth it in time. So not only is this post aimed to encourage you but also as a reminder for me to take things one step at a time.

Not everything falls into place straight away, life is a process. I had been wanting change for a long time and then a lot of things changed suddenly, it all happened really fast. However, not everything is the way it should be yet, I don’t have my own place yet and I am not ‘home’ yet, but I will be eventually because I have taken the first steps, I have started working on things. So let’s focus on the goals ahead and embrace the change. x

Really good post, Marianne… Love what you said here! 🙂

There's always that fear of the unknown that pulls people back, and stops people from growing and reaching their full potential. People can live their entire lives in a bubble, thinking that life is just what it is. Taking those first steps is one of the bravest things we humans can do, because the change that follows breaks down our wall, our world, that we have become so used to and comfortable in, into something bigger and more spectacular.

Someone once said: "I've read the end and I know it's okay. If it's not okay, then I know it's not the end." I know you remember God's promises and that they are true… so whether you're going through the good or the bad, you KNOW there is always better to come. 🙂

Such a great, inspiring post, Marianne! Change is never easy and I do feel an array of emotions whenever I experience a change, too, especially if it's sudden. I do believe that if life went as planned, it would be boring and we'd essentially stunt our own mental, emotional and in some case, physical growth. Change allows us to really evaluate ourselves, learning what we're strong at and what we need to strengthen and the only way to strengthen it is to go through it all and endure. I wish you the absolute best in your endeavors and with an outlook like that, you're sure to succeed in everything you set out to accomplish. Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you have an amazing day, beautiful!
